Installing and Using Cisco VPN[edit]

  • You HAVE to be connected to the VPN in order to use Remote Desktop

Finding Your IP Address[edit]

  • You will need the IP address of the computer you are trying to remotely access.

Macintosh OSX[edit]

  • Open System Preferences and click on "Network"

  • Click on "Ethernet" on the left-hand side, and then locate your IP address as shown below.

Windows 10[edit]

  • Open the Settings window by going to: Start -> Settings

  • Click "Network & Internet"

  • Click on the Connection that is connected.

  • Scroll down and find your "IPv4 Address" This is your computer's IP address.
