Remote Desktop[edit]

  • Download the file to use to connect to remote desktop from here http://go.illinois.edu/rdpgateway
  • When connecting to remote desktop, you will need to log in twice if your IGB and Campus AD passwords or different.
  • After double clicking on the file, enter your IP address of the system at IGB that you want to connect to.
  • First password prompt, username will be uofi\netid and your password will be your AD password
  • Next it should tell you that the login to your system (typically your IP address) has failed. Here you will need to enter your IGB credentials (just netid and your IGB password). If your IGB password and AD password match, you will not see a failed login here.
  • You can click save password on both prompts if you do not want to enter them again.
