Installing and Using Cisco VPN

You HAVE to be connected to the VPN in order to use Remote Desktop

Finding Your IP Address

You will need the IP address of the computer you are trying to remotely access.

Macintosh OSX

Open System Preferences and click on "Network"
Click on "Ethernet" on the left-hand side, and then locate your IP address as shown below.

Windows 10

Open the Settings window by going to: Start -> Settings
Click "Network & Internet"
Click "Ethernet" in the left-hand side.
Click on the Connection that is connected.
Scroll down and find your "IPv4 Address" This is your computer's IP address.
