Events in rooms 612 and 607 can be recorded upon request using Opencast video recording software. This will record video and audio of the presenter, as well as the presentation displayed on the projector.
Scheduling a recording[edit]
If you are interested in having a lecture or class recorded, pleae follow the directions below.
607[edit]
607 Reservation form at http://www.igb.illinois.edu/facilities-services/reserve-classroom has an option to specify video recording.
If you already placed a reservation, please contact us at help@igb.illinois.edu and provide the following information:
- Dates and Times
- Room Number
- Title for video

NOTE We need consent from the presenter to be recorded, and the presenter will need to use a microphone to be heard on the recording.
Viewing a recording[edit]
- Recordings can be viewed by anyone at our Opencast web portal https://vid.igb.illinois.edu/engage/ui/index.html.
- Recordings will automatically be processed and uploaded to our server after the end of the event.
- Please allow a few hours for the video to be processed after the end of the event.
- You will receive an automatic email with the link to the recording.
